Comments about Waterproof Low Profile Thermoguarded Trailer Lights:
Barrett trailer. WM pics were similar to original.
Product was slightly different. Had to cut away some plastic on the mounting bracket to make this light fit.
Service and delivery comments:
received order within a week. Canadian customers get soaked on shipping, handling and border redtape. West Marine...it does not really cost you that much. Dollar is at par to boot. criminals..

Comments about Waterproof Low Profile Thermoguarded Trailer Lights:
These are a good idea. Unfortunatly I put them on two trailers. The connections are out in the trailer frame, exposed. You have to cut and re-splice the lights if a bulb burns out. The old-school lights had a 90-cent bulb you could replace. These you replace the entire tear-droped shaped things. The the West Marine LED ights-well worth it. They'll still work when you go to sell the boat!
Pros
- Durable, corrosion resistant
Cons
Best Uses
- Long distance towing
Comments about Waterproof Low Profile Thermoguarded Trailer Lights:
This is the second unit purchased from WM, the first I one blew up when turning a sharp corner. While waiting for replacement, took boat to the lake 3 times, light still worked without red lens, so I used only in daylight.Good product, and fit my trailer exactly.

Comments about Waterproof Low Profile Thermoguarded Trailer Lights:
I've had these lights since 2006 and the right side stopped working
so when i went to buy a new one they didn't have them separate so i bought the kit so i would have an extra as a back up. as i was installing i noticed a cut in a wire that was corroded and realized the lights were fine.

Cons

Lasted one season, went back to West Marine and they told me if I buy the extended warranty they would replace them. I emailed Wesbar and they are replacing them for free.
