I drink tea all day and I like it to stay hot for longer than five minutes. This mug works so well I never have to waste tea anymore, it really does stay hot - for a long time. The mug is very comfortable to hold and pleasant to drink from, I just love it. I've tried a number of 'keep warm' mugs and this is the best, quality you can see and feel. Other pluses: unbreakable and, in my experience, dishwasher safe.

I've given these as gifts and everyone loves them.

Staining can be an issue, simply place a denture tablet in the mug and fill with boiling water, leave overnight and the stain easily wipes away.

While I'm at sea this cup is my constant companion. I drink a lot of green tea and the cup keeps it warm even after I've set it down to go and do something.
I have lost many a good cup after a good roll and everything comes crashing to the deck, but the non skid surface on the bottom really works to keep it where I left it. I really can't think of too many things I dislike about it. The cup is just the right size and fits well in my hand. I reccomend it as a gift for other sail folk. A more proper cup would be hard to find.
