iPhones or iPads. Simply download the RayViewer app from the Apple store and
transform your iPhone or iPad into Raymarine repeater. View charts, sonar,
radar, even thermal night vision right from anywhere onboard. Use built in Wi-Fi
to synchronize waypoints and routes with your SmartPhone running Navionics
Mobile apps. Plan your next voyage on your iPhone or iPad and then wirelessly
sync all your waypoints and routes with any new c-Series or e-Series display.

Bluetooth Steering Wheel and MP3 Controls Add the optional RCU-3 Remote
Control and Multimedia Control with Bluetooth connectivity, and you can control
your display from the steering wheel or anywhere on board (via the RCU-3’s
steering wheel mount or lanyard). With your display linked to your smartphone or
MP3 player, you can also control music playback right from the RCU-3 remote at
the helm, with your smartphone stored in a safe and dry location.

Comments about e Series e95 Network Multi function Display with Wireless Capability, 9" Diagonal, No Chart:
We just got a Fortier 26 and needed a new depth sounder. It was recommended to replace the Simrad Nav unit , which did not have a depth sounder and with its age getting a transducer was not recommended, and get this all in one unit. Installed professionally. When the boat was launched it did not work. It lit up and we had some info, but all useless and I spent hours trying to "set" the depth and speed mode. The installer came and had to upgrade software. It seemed you don't ask for another visit from the installer till you read the instruction book. I did. 276 pages. No index. Little progress. The installer came down again and said the IB not worth reading, and showed me enough to get it working. Still found navigating time consuming, distracting, and the touch screen seems to not respond after the sun gets it hot. I have readjusted the touch sensors 5 times. The screen works only half the time. I then use the hard button "OK" which is on a joy stick. If there is motion and you move the joy stick just a bit the menu changes, and you are again distracted by getting back to what you were trying to do. With the boat moving I have accidently locked the touch screen several times and with a half responsive touch screen you are not always sure you have it unlocked. Maybe I need a helms person AND a navigator as distraction steering is great. On screen menus greatly block the chart. Maybe I am just not used to this kind of technology, maybe I am just dumb, but I think no product with such poor instructions is worth this price, and my time. The great number of features have to be carefully explained or they just become liabilities. If I had not spent so much money I would rip it out and replace with a unit I am sure is more user friendly!
