Comments about Heavy Duty Teak Cleaner Kit:
The cleaner was very easy to use, but I recommend doing it somewhere that you don't mind the chemicals running off... (we did it at the edge of our woods). Scrubbing was minimal, it was good to have two people doing the cleaning, one to squirt and scrub, one to run the hose for rinsing. We did use the brightener and WOW the teak turned a very golden color, almost too golden for me, but I know over time it will slowly settle down in brightness. Next time I think I'll just use the cleaner and skip the brightener. If you want your old teak to look like new this will really do the job. The only warning I'd give is have a good brush ready, because you need to get in all the cracks and crannies for a good job.

Comments about Heavy Duty Teak Cleaner Kit:
We have a set of Gloster teak patio furinture. It takes several days of work to clean, sand, then seal the teak. We've used various cleaning products over the years - the furniture is now 12 years old - and this is by far the best of all of them. Light scrubbing removes ALL mold/mildew stains from the wood and brings back the original hue! The cleaner does not damage wood and allows the natural grain to come back - ready for sealing with Semco or another product.

Comments about Heavy Duty Teak Cleaner Kit:
This cleaner/brightener kit is the best so far. I have used other off-the-shelf products with varying success but the WM cleaner out-performs them all at getting the black mildew deep in the grain of the wood. May need a second application with a finer brush to get into the grain... Wood looks new when finished and dry. My dock neighbor tried some on his 30+ year old teak with equally amazing results. He is now going to do the rest of his teak with this kit.

Comments about Heavy Duty Teak Cleaner Kit:
I bought this product and the starbrite cleaner to clean my teak patio set that had seen years of weathering. Both products worked well, but these seemed to work much better. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

Comments about Heavy Duty Teak Cleaner Kit:
This stuff would work best on a teak deck and that's the way the directions are oriented. We used it on some teak furniture that was pretty ugly after years in the Arizona sun, so it was a bit difficult to get into all the nooks and crannies of the furniture. I chose it based on a Practical Sailor magazine recommendation and found that it worked quite well. After cleaning, I did some sanding to eliminate deep grain and zip away some of the dark spots. When finished, it looked very good, with some nice patina remaining. It was messy and slow, but I think that comes with the territory.
