Comments about Cool Mate Self Contained Air Conditioners:
This air conditioner's compact size and quiet operation were perfect for installation under the V-berth in my 26' cabin cruiser. I liked that everything you need is included in one easy to install kit. It cools the cabin quickly and has good airflow from the single 4" outlet. I do wish it had a low/high fan speed, because it can be a little drafty at night. Other concerns are use of the older r-22 refrigerant and lack of a high pressure cut-out switch, both are things I can overlook considering the low price and the quality reputation of Marine Air.
