The C-10 differs from our existing C-20 Controller, in that, it only uses Air Temperature to operate the De-Icer. Simply use the dial to set a temperature in which you want the De-Icer to turn on and plug the C-10 into a standard 120V outlet. The Kasco De-Icer then plugs into the C-10 Controller.

Comments about C 10 Thermostat Controller:
Controls the Kasco 115V Dock deicers. Turns off the de-icer when the pre-set air temperature is exceeded. Turns it back on when the air temperature falls below the set point. This will save you money particularly if you aren't out by the dock every day to turn off the de-icer when the temperature warms up.
The de-icer plugs into this thermostat which turns the power on or off to the de-icer.
It is easy to install with 4 screws somewhere where it will be the most out of the sun. I put mine on the north side of my dock's support post. It has about a 7 ft. cord, so you must put it that close to a 115V (120V) outlet.
I've had it for only a month, but I don't think I'll have anything bad to say about it at the end of the season.

Comments about C 10 Thermostat Controller:
Attached this thermostat controller to a Kasco aerator. Seems durable. The temperature adjustment is a big plus. My old thermostat was fixed to turn on at 30 deg, but our lake never freezes at that temp--so I'm saving electricity. I also like the tabs that allowed me to bolt the controller to a post to deter it from walking off. I searched the internet--West Marine provided the best value and fast delivery.
