Description

The B75M transducer is a bronze, thru-hull depth and temperature sensor compatible with Raymarine’s CP450C ClearPulse CHIRP sonar. It features a depth and fast-response water temperature sensor in a bronze, low-profile housing.

The B75M covers the medium-frequency spectrum from 80 kHz to 130 kHz with a beam width of 24° to 16°. The overall bandwidth of this transducer is 50 kHz, and covers the popular fishing frequencies of 88 and 107 kHz plus everything else in the bandwidth. The medium-frequency array consists of a single broadband ceramic element.

Medium-frequency benefits include the ability to sound deeper than the high-frequency, along with better target resolution than low-frequency transducers offer.

Part of the Tilted Element Transducers series, this transducer has a low-profile housing that protrude less than 6.35 mm (0.25”) outside of the hull. This particular model’s transducer elements are set at 0° tilt for boats with relatively little hull deadrise. Tilted element transducers are an ideal solution for fast, trailered, sport fishing vessels where a thru-hull transducer with a High-Performance Fairing cannot be installed, or boats up to 25-feet in length. Its bronze construction means it is suitable for installation in boats with either wood or fiberglass hulls.
