Description

For safe, quick rescue by first responders

The MRK120 is designed for emergency response teams in situations with multiple victims in the water. The Rescue Stick™ can be thrown up to 100' to stabilize the victims and a throw bag can then be thrown to retrieve the victims. All this in a heavy duty storage case. Complete with quick reference instruction sheet, humidity indicator and dessicant.

MRK120 Mustang Survival Water Rescue Kit contains:

Four (4) Rescue Sticks—stabilize the victim
Incredibly easy to use, the Rescue Stick provides rapid flotation assistance allowing rescuers to quickly and easily stabilize the victim. A stabilized and calm victim can more confidently aid in self rescue. Easily thrown over 100' with accuracy, simply remove the Rescue Stick from the Water Rescue Kit and throw near the victim. Once contact is made with the water it inflates in seconds to a large horseshoe shape with handles, keeping them afloat and their head above water, giving the rescuer the time necessary to aid the victim to safety. With 35lb. of buoyancy, the Rescue Stick™ has the ability to provide emergency flotation for multiple victims.

One (1) Throw Bag—retrieve the victim
The highly visible and durable throw bag allows rescuers to quickly retrieve the victim. Once the victim has been supported by the inflated Rescue Stick, the bag should be thrown beyond the victim and pulled back allowing the victim to reach the rope and be pulled in to complete the rescue. The throw bag consists of a heavy duty buoyant bag and 50 feet of floating rope.

Protective Storage Case
The customized heavy duty drop tested, impact resistant, air and water tight protective case is easy to open in an emergency and is equipped with a pressure relief valve. The case meets Military, ATA and federal specifications.

Comments about Water Rescue Kit with 4 Rescue Sticks & 1 Throw Bag:

this rescue stick is good but the c02 could fail when someone falls over bord. I think that when a person is in the water you need to act fast. you should need to know how to use your safty geaer!!

Comments about Water Rescue Kit with 4 Rescue Sticks & 1 Throw Bag:

For a company that states that they save lives for a living this is an expensive and poorly thought out disaster waiting to happen. Mustang claims that one can accurately toss the stick 100 feet and only provides a 50 foot bag of rope, are Mustang product engineers that bad at math word problems or the is the PIW supposed to swim to the line and then get pulled in. I wonder how fast the inflated stick moves across the water if the wind or current is affecting it. Most likely faster than a drowning person can swim for it. For the price Mustang is asking, the biggest question you might have is if it worth the time and effort to attempt to retrieve this failed technology before it disappears over the horizon and adds more plastic pollution to the ocean?
