Description

The EquipLite Non-Swiveling, Low-Cost (NSM) Connectors boast a weight savings of approximately 70%-80% over traditional stainless shackles. The softer materials used result in less damage to masts, spinnaker tracks, decks, etc., when flogging during tacks or pre-start.

These connectors are easy and quick to attach; they are ideal for jib sheets, spinnaker sheets and lower load halyards (spinnaker, topping lifts, etc.). These are for use with covered lines only.

The advance of the quick loop
The specially designed NS Connector system becomes an extension of the spliced rope. It's quick and easy to attach and detach, even with cold and wet hands. Three times stronger than a bowline, it's never hard to undo.

High-strength material
The NS Connector has a high-tensile aluminum body technology with unmatched impact and wear resistance. The NS Connector does not have a self-tightening or jamming action. It is more compact, lighter and easier to operate compared to bow lines.

Reduced damage to the yacht, safe
The compact loop connector with Velcro wrap reduces damage to the forestays and rigging. Safer: Light weight reduces risk of injury when flogging, reduced damage to masts, spinnaker tracks, topsides, etc.-will not jam even if overloaded and will operate close to break load. Will not fatigue and fail prematurely compared to stainless. Loops are replaceable.

Note: Matching parts should be rounded, smooth, and with no sharp edges or burrs.
Dyneema loops are coated with an UV coating, recoat when worn for long life. It is recommended that loops should be replaced when worn.
