This product was a waste of money. Crumbs go all over the stove when using and doesn't toast bread as advertised. Used once. Just bought a better and cheaper toaster ($10) that really works at the Annapolis boat show .

It works, although as some other reviewers state it's far from perfect. The secret is that you need to flip the bread during the toasting process or else it will burn. Is it foolproof? No, but you are trying to make toast without a toaster so there you go.

This product doesnt toast bread - it burns the bread at the top and leaves it dried out but not toasted at the bottom. I threw it away!

When put on a gas stove ( as intended) it burns the top of each slice (and sets off the smoke alarm in my boat), and does not toast the bottom half. Waste of money. Find another deisgn.
