The hole in the top is round rather than the octagon I've seen in most cleats. The properly sized bolt head sticks up above the cleat which is unsightly, hurts if you step on it and is a trip point.

I use this to tie off a hoist line that is rarely used. The surface of the cleat is rough but for occasional use it works fine and is a great price.
