Comments about Endura C2 Freshwater Transom Mount Trolling Motor:
The parts look very well made as you would expect for probably the leading brand. It runs really quietly and seems to have very little vibration.
For my use I wanted to shorten the shaft (probably voiding the warranty!), so I dismantled the tiller housing and unclamped the shaft. Easy to do and all the components look top notch. Inside the tiller housing is the rotating switch for controlling power to the motor. I found mine had two of the minor wires reversed (yellow was on the white connector and vice versa). Testing them on my wimpy power source suggests that the wires should have been yellow to yellow and white to white. No a big deal for my purposes because I only plan to use it at full power, but people using at intermediate speeds might find that speed 4 say was slower than speed 2. So if your speeds seem a bit odd, you might unscrew off the cover and check the connectors - they are really easy to correct.

Comments about Endura C2 Freshwater Transom Mount Trolling Motor:
Bought a small 20 footer a few years back and at the time I couldnt spend the money on a 6 horse merc. So i bought one of these. I was VERY concerned about it since the boat weighed 1800lbs but I was only using it on an inland lake. I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER WITH THE MOTOR. I would use it on and off all day and wouldnt notice a power drop at all. It moved my 20 footer at 5 knots. Ended up selling that boat and the merc I eventually got for it and moved the motor to my dingy. Again couldnt be happier with its preformance. I spent all last summer going up and down the river I am on and never felt a power drop and didnt see one on my GPS speed.
