I have a 20 year old production boat with many opening hatches some of which leaked. Some of the hatch catches were loose as the rubber gaskets had compressed, therefore it is not possible to apply further pressure to stop leaks. I have now completed replacement of all the gaskets with excellent results. As well as making each hatch waterproof, because of the D section shape, the catches now are tight and in fact I have been able to loosen several to make it easier to open and close. I found the instructions easy to use, the the self adhesive backing worked well. Great outcome!
