For temporary, emergency sail repairs. Much tougher, stronger, and stickier than spinnaker repair tape. Handy on sail areas that chafe against pulpits, spreaders, shrouds, etc.

Comments about Dacron Sail Repair Tape:
Used to fix torn leech in an old main for a small boat. Looks as if it will hold through season until new sails are in the budget.

Comments about Dacron Sail Repair Tape:
I ordered tape from West Marine after a sailing friend told me about it. For about 2 years it's been protecting the exposed final wrap on 2 awnings with need for partial replacement in only 2 areas after many months. When applying a 12 ft. length, it's easy to get a wrinkle. It's also holding a tear together for over a year now.

Comments about Dacron Sail Repair Tape:
Used it on older sail that had tears and worn seams. Also worked on the leach line area. So far so good, we"ll see how long it last. Great product so far.
