Control loaded lines with ease
The 57mm and 75mm Carbo Ratchamatic blocks are adjustable for use in many applications and weather conditions. This load-sensing ratchet block rolls freely in both directions under low loads, then engages the ratchet automatically as loads increase. With 180 degree wrap, you get a 10:1 holding power. Great for asymmetrical spinnakers when you need tough holding power and a quick release.

Comments about 75mm Carbo Ratchamatic Blocks:
We use these blocks to help get the genoa in on a 24ft racing yacht. The blocks work well and help to the extent that most of the time, winching in the sail is no longer needed. This means faster, crisp tacks. We have not yet decided upon the best setting at which the ratchet engages, but a few more races and we will find a good all round setting.
