I use it on the transom of my boat which one was already installed by the manufacture. It looks really great against the white of any boat. With that being said the sun will damage the black hose connector and the chrome will chip off. This is why I had to purchse a new one, But by the same token my boat is a 1997 so it did hold its look for 14 years!!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
