The shorts have a 5 inch rise and since I am 5'6" they fit perfectly.
In the other stores shorts are to long for me.
The on line ordering is great and in most cases shipping is free, and is better than fighting traffic and crowded malls.

I bought a larger waist size, because I'd owned the same style earlier, but that was a mistake. The shorts fit loose to begin with and after a couple of washes, the elastic waist has completely failed so I'm having to have alterations so they don't fall completely off because with no elastic waist, the shorts are 2 inches bigger!
