I wore this shirt for 18 days rafting in the Grand Canyon. It was compfortable and I did not need to wear sunscreen under it. The shirt held up great as I was constantly dumping cold river water on myself in the 110 degree heat. Not a single thread came loose. Granted it's not white anymore but who cares it saved my upper body from being incinerated.
