Bronze pump head resists corrosion, and bronze body features a reusable O-ring-type end-cover seal. Complies with USCG 183.410 and ISO 8846 (ignition protection).

I used the pump as a back up in the aft end of the bilge and only engaged the pump occasionally. I have replace the pump four times in the past four years. Have had all the wiring checked and replaced by a professional. The Jabsco water puppy simply does not hold up in this application. You can't say I didn't give it a fair chance!

This was a replacement for a pump purchased by a previous owner. It was the same model. The first was at least 6 years, this one failed during the 2nd year.
