Single stainless-steel stud connects up to three ring terminals—the maximum allowed by ABYC. These devices do not have a current rating as the electrical path is through the ring terminal stack and not the stud terminal. The supplied insulating boot goes on the last wire on the stack and provides a high degree of insulation for the connection.
