The Conquer is Penn's best inshore/near shore saltwater spinning reel. Exclusive features include the EAS Easy Access System which enables the access to be lowered by removing a single screw to make access to the gear train for lubrication and maintenance simple. 10+1 shielded ball bearings and HT-100 drag washers give the reel its incredible smoothness. The spool lip is made from proprietary Eternal Alloy to resist lline-eating dents and scratches. The forged, machined and anodized Superline Spool needs no backing because of the rubber gasket which keeps superline from slipping. Infinite anti-reverse means you'll have total confidence every time you go to set the hook.

I recieved this real a year ago and absolutely love it. It has no trouble hauling up big stripers and blues. I use it for boat fishing and is absolutely beautiful for jigging avas and shads. This reel with a shimano trevela jigging rod are the things fish nightmares are made of!!!
