This product is amazing. I had a huge hydraulic oil stain that had saturated into a 5 square foot area of the teak on my flying bridge over five years ago from a leak in the steering system and I was going to have the deck removed and replaced. I tried this product a week ago and after going through about 4 cans of it applying one coat at a time a few hours apart and allowing the oil saturated teak to release more of the oil to the surface I now have my original deck back without a trace of oil. My deck started out nearly black and it is now the color of original teak wood. So for about $60 worth of this product I saved myself a couple thousand dollars worth of wood work. I now have many cans aboard for anything that leaves a stain on the teack deck. Also used it to get rid of potato chip stains.

This product does not hurt the rubber or stained varnish if you overspray it. I started putting it on very light but it worked better to really saturate the teak and let it dry to powder and then vacuum off. Let set for a few hours for the hydraulic fluid to leach back up through the wood and repeat. After a few days and maybe 7 applicatations the leaching has stopped except for around the plugged screw holes so I am still doing some spot areas but you would not know that anything ever happened at this point.

K2r is the ONLY product I have found that easily removes oils stains from teak decking and trim. Utterly fantastic results! Just spray it on and it works like magic!
If you have Teak, then you need K2r Spot Lifter! Hands down the best item to keep your boat looking its best!
