I am a professional fiberglass repair technician and I use this product to restore the surface of gelcoat on boats regularly. When used with a high speed buffing wheel it brings the surface back to a near new appearance. With annual or better yet semi-annual use it gets better with each use for the first few (3-5) times. It must be followed with a wax for maximum effect and protection.

My boat is a 1993 fiberglass hull Mastercraft that I thought was hopeless and needed a new gel coat. I tried Attwood and Maguire's products last year but they actually made the finish look worse. Then after researching the net for days I was convinced to try the 3M color restorer followed by the performance paste wax and OMG my boat looks brand new again. Thank you 3M, I'm a customer forever.....The process was easy, required no tools and only took 2 days to cover the whole 20' bow to stern. Old boats can look new again.
