I have these on a sailboat and totally exposed to the weather. They sound great, people often comment how good they sound. After three years (we sail year round) of playing pretty loud they are starting to crackle a bit in the bass. However I intend to replace them with the same exact model. I'd give them 4 stars if they were cheaper.

installed these last spring in my bay-boat. They did not hold up to the environment and now three out of the four are "blown" -- not from making music, but from the marine environment. Im still looking for a speaker that will last - these certainly do not. If you keep your boat in dry storage area, it may serve you OK -- but for those of us that dock the boat on the water- - no so much.
