I had heard about and read about collinite for years now but just assumed it was an "old timer's" wax and always opted for the all the modern technology based products like 3M, Mguiars, NuFinish etc for my 39' express cruiser... I had gotten to the point where last year I was convinced my gel coat was beyond help and I would have to paint or awl grip the topside. It had been dull for years now and no matter how much waxing I did, the chalkiness would return a month or two after. Then out of shear desperation, as a last resort I tried Collinite this past January and WOW WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!!!! Nothing, and I mean nothing had come close to what collinite did for my boat. Pretty easy on/off... Used collinite cleaner and then two coats of Collinite 925 and the boat looks GREAT 5 months later! Just try it. I'm frickin sold on the stuff for ever

By far the best wax I have used in the marine setting. I put a coat on in the fall after hauling my boat, then I follow up with a fresh coat in the spring followed by Collinite Insulator, and my hull beads water from April through October.
