Comments about nuvi 500 or 550 Scooter Mount:
I bought two of them and one installed perfectly on a RAM mount but on the other one I ended up with four stripped out screw holes and then the inserts pulled out! I was 100 miles from a store that I could exchange it and I needed it that day so I had to drill and screw it to the ATV so I could continue in guiding my group of riders into the woods for a site seeing tour. I would also like to see a way of tightening the ball so it will not move from bumps, waves etc. I recommed this item however you must be very carfull with the screws that tighten the mount.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
