Lake Lyndon B. Johnson is part of the Highland Lakes chain of lakes located just outside Austin, Texas. The water level of LBJ does not experience much fluctuation throughout the year and provides approximately 6,449 acres of surface water. Largemouth bass are are the most sought after gamefish in the lake but LBJ holds one of the best populations of crappie of any of the Highland Lakes.
