Bought these as a multipurpose sailing boot. Back-ordered for a month. Size chart on this site is wrong. West says XXL=11, shoebox says XXL=12-13 mens. Unless they change the chart posted here, get 1 letter size down. Soles are super grippy, but are flexible to a fault if you need any support or protection from stubbing your toes. Before returning them, I submerged them for 15 mins with no leaks. They appear water tight. They look cheap.

My son uses the boots for the sailing with the high school sailing team. The boots give him good footing on the 420. When they did capsize drills, we hung the boots and they dried out over night. Ready to use the next day!

I like everything about this boot EXCEPT for the fact that the zippers came unzipped with normal dinghy racing. Perhaps my pair were defective, but I will return them to exchange for a pair with a reinforced enclosure over the top of the zipper.

Very comfortable boot. Like the zipper convenience. Like the traditional siped flat sole for wet traction and does not pick up dirt in the soles. Appear well made and true to size. I would buy again.
