Regatta Polyester Single Braid
A very supple, soft line that has good abrasion resistance. Knobby surface is easy to grip, even when wet. Medium-stretch, hocklefree, and free-running. Ideal for sheets and tackle systems on all boats, due to its easy-handling, non-kinking characteristics. Because it is “easy on the hands” and “takes a good grip on the winch,” this is the soft-spun line that Practical Sailor prefers.

I purchased about 70' to replace Genoa sheets on my 10-year old sailboat. Rather than using two lengths as the original owner had done, I passed a loop at the middle of the line through the cringle in the clew of the Geneo, and then threaded the ends through the loop and led them to the cockpit. Presto! No more hang-ups on stays and shrouds during tacks on low-wind days! The product looks beautiful, and the lines are a pleasure to handle. ' couldn't be more pleased.

Was using Sta-Set but it would kink occasionally and was tough on the hands.
The single braid is free flowing and soft. Makes trimming easy.

I am using this as the main sheet on my MC Scow. I am very happy with it. It runs great and is easy to grip. Stretch is not an issue for my application.
