          Comments about Short Yachting Boots:

The boots creased and leaked in the middle of the third year. i fish about 20 days per year. I would have expected them to last a bit longer. I am not hard on them. In between use they are stored in a closet and they are only exposed to sun while I fish.

Gill product boot is [*] and I have both the short and tall boot. Both of them leak on each pair and the rot is on the outside ankle area. Love the fit and feel of the boot and wish the material used would last.

                  Comments about Short Yachting Boots:

They were great when I first got them. When the sun was out, my feet did get uncomfortably hot (this is in NJ). I clean them after each trip and I store them in a dry area. After a year, a crease hole developed and my feet got wet. I repaired that and it happened to the other boot. The next season, the boots were completely dried up with cracks all over and are garbage now. The cheap plastic they use the make the boots don't last for salt water fishing. Would not recomend.

These boots work great on deck. They do not slip and there is not heel to catch. I chose the size from the chart and they fit well, with enough room for heavy socks.

They will be used for winter fishing, so far they've been dry and comfortable.
