Comments about Men's Short Finger Championship Gloves:
These gloves perform well but wear quickly which is why I gave them 2 stars... To qualify "wear quickly" they only lasted 1 season this past summer with recreational use (mostly weekends, every other) and some racing but not a lot. They are falling apart at the heel of the palm and have holes/wear in the fingers as well.

Comments about Men's Short Finger Championship Gloves:
I purchased a pair of these gloves approximately 1 year ago now. The grey material on the heel of the hand has now completely disintegrated. The black grip area material works fine still, just a little wear on it. However, these gloves just dont fit like gloves anymore and I'm forced to get something new after only maybe 15-20 1-hour races.

Comments about Men's Short Finger Championship Gloves:
After about six months of use these gloves are completely shot, torn, ripped, and basically useless. I would have expected to get at least a year or two out of them before having to buy replacements.

Comments about Men's Short Finger Championship Gloves:
I have used the expensive gloves and these mid priced gloves. Just as good and long lasting as the expensive glove. The sizing is true to the measurments WestMarine gives. THe gloves fit me and my family perfectly.

Service and delivery comments:
The gloves were back-ordered. I paid extra for express shipping so that I could use them at an upcoming regatta. Because of the delay, I ended up with kayak gloves from Dick's sporting goods. Worked just fine. No refund on express shipping offered by WM.

Comments about Men's Short Finger Championship Gloves:
The black fabric across the surface of the fingers is okay, but the gray filler material on the rest of the glove is terrible and disintegrates after any use at all, so the gloves just fall apart. A wet paper towel is more durable. I used them about a half dozen times on our daysailer and they are totally shot, and I'm the helmsman! They wouldn't last two races for a crew person. A total waste of [$]

Comments about Men's Short Finger Championship Gloves:
The old design of this glove model was excellent, good for up to two seasons of normal weekend usage, some of the best gloves I've ever used.
The new design has VERY POOR DURABILITY, with the light gray material literally disintegrating after less than 4 months of normal weekend usage.
AVOID THEM!
