Comments about Slammer Spinning Reel, #560, 325/12lb., 4.6:1, 20.0oz.:
I enjoy knowing my Penn will hold up for years. I have had many reels and the Penn is the go to reel. I have found it the most cost effecient reel after trying and owning many reels of various makes in my sixty years fishing. I must say stay away from the composite reels for they do not stay together as well in situations regarding heavy active game fish. Next time you go out check the reel of choice on most charter and party boats and you will find the common reel used is Penn. Obtaining parts are easy seeing the majority of suppliers carry Penn parts unlike other brands which can make or break a high end vacation or fishing trip. I depend on Penn for its my reel of choice when you hear fish on for you know that reel will never let you down.
