Comments about 1,500 lb Bolt Through Swivel Jack:
This jack is not for saltwater use. I launched in saltwater about ten times over a six month period and now it won't crank up or down. There is no provision to flush it with fresh water. Engineers need to work on this!
Otherwise it is a safe, sturdy jack that performs well if you keep it dry.
Pros
- Easy rolling large wheel
- Far outclasses 1000 jack

Comments about 1,500 lb Bolt Through Swivel Jack:
This jack is SO worth the money! It far exceeds the strength and stability of the 1000# jack. Large diameter wheel makes it easy to move loaded boat trailer. Forget the small jacks; this is the one to get.

- Rust, corrosion

Bigger than I needed (for a 19 ft. bowrider), but worth it. Much more to it than the one that came with the trailer.

Comments about 1,500 lb Bolt Through Swivel Jack:
I bought this becasue it was on sale, and the one smaller in size was given a bad review. I used it on a jetski trailer and it is WAY over engineered for that application. A very hefty jack that I might be moving to my 17 foot aluminum boat trailer, just so it matches better.

Comments about 1,500 lb Bolt Through Swivel Jack:
I am happy with this purchase. The only thing was that I had to mount it a little farther back than what I had anticipated.
