Comments about Gulper Sanitation Pumps:
My company installs marine plumbing - especially sanitation systems professional. I installed on of these on my own boat before offering them to our clients. Fortunately West Marine has a decent return policy. Long story short I'm on my 3rd pump in as many years. The pump loses prime and often must run for 15 minutes before actually moving any waste. I've replaced the valves repeatedly in case that was the issue - no luck. I've tested my system for air leaks and none are present. It is better to pony up the extra $60 and invest in the SEALAND pump. They are bulletproof and require very little maintenance. 13 clients have them now and not a single issue.

Comments about Gulper Sanitation Pumps:
We use this pump to discharge macerated waste. It always works. We replaced the diaphrams about every 3 years as a precaution since it pumps salt water mixed with human waste, a highly corrosive mixture.
