A new generation of jerry jugs, these special fuel containers feature a spill-proof fueling system that meets new, tough ARB regulations in CA, NY, MD, DE and PA. Those environmental regulations prohibit the sale of open, vented fuel cans within the state. Containers are made from HDPE and DuPont's Selar RB Barrier resin to meet strict permeation requirements. The ECO Spout is easy to use and helps to prevent spills. Fuel flow will automatically stop when the container is full. Spout closes automatically. All ECO Fuel Can products shown have been UL-tested and approved.

Comments about 1.25 Gallon Red Square Jerry Can:
Agree with the above comments. Only reason I bought one is because it was the only small one I could find. Spout is very difficult to use, and it leaks gas all over.
Pros
- Weather Resistant
Cons
- Poor Design

The spout on these things spills more gas and causes more pollution than the old environmentally insensitive design. Can I use the word "stupid" here?

Comments about 1.25 Gallon Red Square Jerry Can:
I am very disappointed with the design of this so-called "safety" spout. It is very difficult to use -- i.e., pouring fuel. I bought this container to keep an additional supply of premix (oil in gasoline) for my home 2-cycle equipment (chain saws, hedgetrimmers, leaf blowers), and it's very difficult to pour fuel safely because I have to use one hand to hold the container, another hand to twist the (so-called) safety spout so that it releases the fuel, and a third hand to hold the equipment (so that it doesn't tip) -- unfortunately, I can't always find my third hand :-(. Any engineer who thought up this device should be fired! The problem is the plastic doohicky that serves as a spring -- it's too stiff, and doesn't let the valve stay open, so I constantly have to apply force to keep it open. I'm grateful that I still have my older containers without these new-fangled safety devices.
This container is pure junk. There is nothing good to say about it.
