With seven gallons per minute capacity, this pump easily handles the demand of multiple outlets at one time. As outlets are utilized, the built-in bypass design re-circulates back pressure to the pump to reduce cycling for a quieter and smoother flow. The corrosion-resistant design rests of soft rubber mounting feet. Pump includes PumpguardĀ inline strainer and main-breaker switch.

Comments about PAR Max 7.0 Pump:
I bought the pump because I wanted the capacity to feed all of the cabins and the galley at the same time (with three kids and their friends the ability to keep up at peak times is key) and it did the job. About a year after installation pressure switch started turning the pump on for very short bursts when no water was being used, and so I came back to WM to order a replacement switch and a backup pump. Having read about the other customer's problem with the pressure switch I'm now reconsidering the purchase of parts/another pump; although the ability to swap out without re-doing the plumbing will probably lead me to roll the dice again on this pump.

Comments about PAR Max 7.0 Pump:
It's a good pump that supplies a good flow of water for larger boats. Problem is that the pressure control switch fails in about 6 months. West has always been good about replacing the pump but it gets to be a real pain to have to remove and install a new pump every 4 to 6 months.
