I bought this pump 2 years ago when I did a complete renovation on my houseboat. I noticed over the past weekend the pump was attempting to cycle and the motor was grinding and working poorly. This is not acceptable for a [$] bilge pump. It has a 3 year warranty. I suppose I will pull it and try for a replacement. I don't have my receipt so I am probably out of luck.

good 110v ac pump at pier, but inboard boat motor vibration cracked auto circuit board on pump while cruising.

I bought this product to pump water out of a broad, shallow area in my crawl space that had about 10 or 100 gallons or so of rainwater that had seeped in. I will leave it installed permanently. You simply can't get a product like this at Home Depot, etc. since their models all need to be in a sump pit. I couldn't make such a pit since my crawl space has a 4" concrete slab. This product was EXACTLY what I needed, and assuming it lasts I will be very happy with it."

For a sump applicaiton, this pump simply doesn't function well. If you need to vertically pump water up any distance regardless is a check valve is installed it will never automatically turn off. The pump will continue to run untill unplugged. If they had a float version of this pump rather than only an impeller resistance design it might have had a chance. My old Rule 1800 from ten years ago is a far better design. Beware of this product, I could not give a recommendation for this pump to anyone.

It's look like a swam cooler pumper that you can buy at Ace store for about $60. It works well for my coolers.

i still belive this is a great product and im going to buy one more i have already returned the malfunctional pump and going to replace it .we all rely on our pumps one time or another so failure this time had no consaquinces, if i dont have any more problems i will change this review
