Comments about Series 40 Navigation Lights:
Good quality and the only viable tri-color/anchor comb for a reasonable (if not cheap price). Largely a solid design with the exception of alignment - you have to have your mount holes almost perfect to get the tri-color facing dead ahead - a design that allowed you to maount th base and adjust the light direction would help.

Comments about Series 40 Navigation Lights:
I had the original unit for 15 years, during which time it was used during the summer in mid-latitudes. It was removed during the winter. The sun finally got to it and the plastic became brittle enough that a quick-release flange broke off. Figuring that the entire unit was probably getting sun-brittle, I replaced it.
I do wish that the company would develop LED bulbs for this unit. They are available from other vendors, but Aqua Signal warns against using them. C'mon, Aqua Signal, it is 2012 and the time has come.

Comments about Series 40 Navigation Lights:
Very simple to install, Bulky when installing so bring up a pouch big enough while installing. I drilled and tapped with 1" 10-24 screws. silicone base and whalaaa!! Let there be light. Awsome at night. Love the the design.
