Been years since I'd replaced by old Littman EPIRB.. Was surprised at how compact and how much more the smaller package would do than my old model..Have never had to use but if the need arises am glad to have this level of technology along for the trip

The mount is easy to install and use. I haven't had to use my EPIRB yet so I can't really comment on it's performance. If our boat sinks, the EPIRB does it's job and we're rescued I'll give it rave reviews. If the boat sinks and it doesn't work and we're not rescued..... then I'll give the EPIRB a terrible review but only the fish will hear it.
