Comments about Mariner Waterproof Backpacks:
I bought this because I needed to swim to shore from a boat (there was no dock on the island). Yes it's heavy, yes it's made out of rubber - how else do you think a waterproof backpack can be waterproof? I chose yellow because it's easy to see in an emergency situation. This is the best waterproof backpack I could find on the internet for it's price, size, amount of compartments, and variety of uses. I do a lot of outdoor environmental work in/around the ocean and in the forest. The only reason why I didn't rate it as 5 star is to give the manufacturers room for improvement (they always design a better second version).
