Comments about Stainless Steel Flag Staff with Integral Mount:

This is an inexpensive and easy to install small flag/burgee holder...for use while docked. We use it for display purposes only on the aft hand rail, removing the flags when heading out, definitely would not trust it while underway, as the post is relatively small in diameter.

This was second one that snapped at thin part of base. These did not last a full season on my 31' cabin cruiser.

Comments about Stainless Steel Flag Staff with Integral Mount:

Purchased this flag staff on 2 different occassions and installed on my 37 ft. Trawler. Our crusing speed is 8 Knots. Both staffs snapped off at the fitting that holds pole to rail. There won't be a third.

Comments about Stainless Steel Flag Staff with Integral Mount:

Mounted easily enough. However, with a penant on and cruising at 25 knots, it could not take the strain and bent over and snapped. Might do OK at 6 knots.
