Pros
- Strong Straps
- Sufficiently large
Cons
- Strap rings rip out
- Wears Out Quickly
Best Uses
Comments about Storm Barrel Duffel:
Large and flexible. But, if you fill it up to 35-40lbs,(week-long passage), expect the straps to pull out from the seams by the fifth trip. Seams around ends start pulling apart. Only the side hands, which circle the bag's diameter in one continuous loop are well designed. Don't check it on an airplane. (It's too large as a carry-on) The treated waterproof fabric will quickly have holes in it from the normal baggage handling. I've given up patching it.
- Comfort vs Style:
- Comfort Driven
Pros
- Good Fit
- Stylish
Cons
- Poor Quality
- Uncomfortable to Carry
- Wears Out Quickly
Best Uses
- Sailing Kit
Comments about Storm Barrel Duffel:
I bought this bag to carry all of my sailing gear, but within 30 days it's completely falling apart. The stitches that hold on the straps are coming off, rendering this bag beautiful but useless.
Another point to note is that the straps are quite long isn't too comfortable to carry on your shoulder based on the way it hangs.
Overall, I thought this product was amazing the day I purchased it, but now I am quite unhappy with it.
Pros
- Durable
- Great Capacity
- Protective
- Water Resistant
Cons
- Few Compartments
Best Uses
- Gear
- Sails
Comments about Storm Barrel Duffel:
Went for week long sailing cruise and this was my only bag. Great capacity, durable, easy to carry, got the job done and then some.
