Comments about Two Stage Bulkhead Mount LPG Regulator:
I bought one of these regulators and then found the brackets that come with are only zinc plated steel. Then I checked and found that you have to buy Stainless brackets separately - another $20 and throw away the zinc brackets. When I got the marine grade brackets I found the included 4 screws were still zinc plated- even though the packaging said they were stainless!
ANOTHER Gotcha--- You can't install one high-pressure solenoid valve in front of the regulator to use a remote shut off. You need the solenoid valve per AYBC code. You either give up the auto change over feature and use one solenoid valve (possibly with a manual 3 way valve) or alternatively use 2 solenoid valves-- but the Xintex control will not handle the current of 2 valves! Plus you double your battery draw! In my opinion this regulator is basically a RV unit relabeled for Marine use.
