An easy-to-handle alternative to heavy steel anchors, Guardians feature lightweight, corrosion-resistant, aluminum-magnesium construction and a precise 32° fluke angle. Components are not anodized and are slightly smaller. But just like the Fortress, the weldless design maximizes strength and they easily disassemble for compact storage or parts replacement.

Comments about Guardian Aluminum Anchors:
I liked this anchor so much that I bought a second one to stow as spare and/or stern anchor. My old steel danforth anchor retired when I bought the first one. The chain weights more that the anchor, yet it grabs and holds with ease. I would not want to assemble it in a stressful situation, so I keep both assembled all the time.
