Description

Extend your boating season into the colder months with a BoatSafe® heater. These thermostatically controlled heaters automatically turn on at approximately 45°F to ensure that the air temperature in your engine room remains above freezing. This releases you from the need to winterize your engine and enables you to enjoy the water after others have quit! BoatSafe heaters meet U.S. Coast Guard requirements with a safe, energy-efficient design that presents no risk of contact burns.

Features include a press-to-test button (750W models) and a footprint choice option that enables mounting in any orientation. Heaters cycle on at 45°F and off at 55°F. Forced air heat gently warms engine compartment surfaces. 250W model is for boats 24 feet or less and engine compartments to 150cu.ft. 750W model is for boats 25–42 feet and engine compartments to 650cu.ft. Boats stored out of the water, twin-engine boats, or single-engine boats with a generator should use the larger model.

    Comments about Engine Compartment Heaters:

I have this heater in my engine compartment on my 30' Chapparal Signature. While the temperatures reached into the low 20's last night, the engine room temperature never got below 45 degrees. It completely eliminates the need for winterizing, allowing me to use the boat all year. Best investment for my boat.
