Precise steering control for high-speed outboard boats
SeaStar PRO outboard steering systems are the choice for high speed single-engine outboard boats, like bass, flats, combo race/ski and other performance boats with speeds above 65mph. Recommended for single non-power-assisted outboards up to 300hp. SeaStar PRO has steered the Bass Masters Classic® since 1994. The easy-to-install Sea Star PRO kit is built using the same components used in factory boatbuilding.
The kit includes a 2.0 PRO HH5770 helm, semi-universal front mount HC5345 cylinder, two quarts of oil and an installation guide. Kit can be used with jackplates (allow enough hose length for full steering motion and no interference during trim and tilt) and performance props. Compact helm has a 4 7/16" footprint and requires only a 3" cutout. Match the helm with Kevlar reinforced HO57XX hoses. Meets ABYC standards and NMMA requirements.

I use it on a Hell's Bay flats boat. It makes a relative displacement bottom hull into a performance sportscar!! Ease of use is phenomnenal.
