Great for short-term use, shock-absorbing Dock Buddies are docklines that s-t-r-e-t-c-h! Construction features a bungee cord covered by bunched hollow braid polypropylene ski rope. Soft foam sleeves are easy to grip. Sliding PVC tubes at ends enable eye adjustment. If dropped in the water, they float. 1,100lb. breaking strength.

These lines are pretty cool. I use them primarily for a 15ft boat on floating and non-floating docks. The only con is that I have to double them to get the boat close to the pier. If they were 2ft or shorter they would be even better. The 4ft one is not bad but allows for a foot or more between the boat and pier which is bad during loading and unloading. Still great product. Adjustable eye works great to tighten on any type or size of cleat. Great idea!

This is an awesome product so far.... I had to make some "adjustments" as they don't come short enough for smaller boats. Thus the 4 star rating. Great product, need more sizes. We have also used the 4 ft one for temporary mooring of a jet ski. Worked good, would have been great if it was about 2 or 3 feet.
