This doesn't fit the filter on my 25hp Mercury 4-Stroke. Not as advertised. Exact same size and construction as any plastic filter wrench you can buy in an auto parts store. Not worth the price. If this would fit your application it would work great but there is no way to know from the description.

Merchant response: Matt -- We put your issue to our contacts at Mercury Marine. Unless the wrench is mis-numbered, which is extremely unlikely, it will fit Mercury/Quicksilver filters for the specified engine type. They wonder if another vendor's filter has been replaced on your engine. The wrench fits the filter, not the motor.
