The extenders helped raise my rod holders on my kayak. I am now able to troll and move around easily, making easier to catch snook, trout, and snappers off of blackpoint marina. However, I had to buy the powerlock rod holders as they were not compatable with my other rodholder. They also slip off easily, making it easier to transport the yak to my car. Overall, it is a great product and serves the purpose I need.
