Our best-selling line of high-value deck chairs just keeps getting better! We’ve improved the seat and back with durable plastic foundations instead of plywood, so they won’t rot or warp. Resilient foam cushions are now contoured for enhanced comfort and covered with water-resistant vinyl. Extensive new QC measures have been put in place to ensure best in class performance. Frames consist of stout 1" diameter tubing and they include a safety catch to prevent accidental folding. Kingfish chairs are surprisingly lightweight and very stable for use on-board or shore-side.

Comments about Kingfish II Folding Deck Chair:
This deck chair is very comfortable and easy to use. The finish is excellant. The only complaint I could have is that the vinyl seating is subject to damage from the sun. Solution: try to keep it in the shade most of the time. I would reccomend this chair to anyone with enough deck kspace (afloat or at home) to accomidate it.

Comments about Kingfish II Folding Deck Chair:
Dont waste money on stainless frame. Cushion will never last past a season so alum will be fine for the year. Frame is actually really good. No replacement cusions so custom fix or through away.
Pros
- Attractive Design
Cons
- Screws are rusting
- Susceptible To Water Damage

Comments about Kingfish II Folding Deck Chair:
Bought stainless chair this time as aluminums last only a few years. Within two months the screws started to rust. Why build and stainless chair if you are going to use fasteners that are going to rust and fall apart. Chair has not been left out in the weather, stored under hardtop of my boat.
Pros
- Attractive Design
- Easy To Clean
Cons
- Poor material

Comments about Kingfish II Folding Deck Chair:
Have used the stainless chairs on the boat and store out of the weather when not in use. Did not last 3 years. Frame is fine. Cushions are not as advertised and can not be replaced. Horrible product. West Marine should seriously think about representing such a poor product.
Pros
- Sturdy frame
Cons
- Cheap vinyl cushions

Comments about Kingfish II Folding Deck Chair:
We got three chairs in 2009 for back deck chairs. They get a lot of sun and weather. By 2010 more duct tape than vinyl was on the chairs. The cushions now look destroyed and I have had an oppertunity to inspect most of the foam under the vinyl and it is begining to deteriate as well. The frames are amazingly strong and durable. I will re upholster with more durable cushions and should have new chairs soon. West should look into offering a re-apholster kit for these chairs the stainless tube frame is first class and the vinyl cushions are less durable. I think the frame could survive 3 or 4 re-fit and if you could get the arm, back and seat cushion for $40 everyone would be happy.
One last problem because the frame construction is so heavy this chair does not store well it folds up some what but still takes up a lot of space when folded. bottom line why build a chair that has a great frame that cost a fortune to manufacture and put garbage cushions on it? I have been hard on my chairs, setting on the boat, but then they are Marine boat chairs and if the cushions were top quality they would last an easy 10 years.

Cons

Comments about Kingfish II Folding Deck Chair:
lThe chairs look great and feel great BUT:
Two back cushion screws were over torqued and fell out when I opened the chairs from the box.
One side arm fell loose - the bolt is missing a nut.
Each left and right hand side of the seat cushion on the two chairs I received had twists in the upholstry stiching which would eventually allow water to penetrate the cushions.
The design of the arm rests is poor. The arm rests are stitched upside down i.e. the stitching allows water to run down the arm and be caught all around the stitching.
